Student Social Workers | Blackpool Advocacy

Blackpool Advocacy has a long history of working with social work students from the University of Central Lancashire, Lancaster University, Open University and more recently University of Cumbria.

The current volunteering opportunities available are:

- Self Advocacy

- Women’s Centre

Blackpool Advocacy strives to create a valuable learning experience for students for students who have a placement with us. We aim to offer an excellent safe and supportive environment where students have the opportunity to learn and develop ideas, skills and knowledge.

Diana and Rachel are two of four registered social workers, who studied at UCLAN and who are now part of the team at Blackpool Advocacy. They both work with students on placement here.
