Our ultimate goal is to enable those using our services to develop towards self-advocacy and we will ensure that service users will be given the opportunity to influence and be involved in the running and management of the organisation.

Blackpool Advocacy will ensure that the wishes and interests of the people they advocate for direct staff and volunteers' work. All staff and volunteers should be non-judgmental and respectful of peoples' needs, views and experiences.

Information known about our service users is kept confidential apart from those instances when there is a legal requirement to breach confidentiality.

The service must recognise diversity and ensure that no one is excluded because of a difference in language, culture, disability, capacity, gender or sexuality.
